Klara the Cat's Prayer

Dear Father in Heaven,

Please don't let mommy dress me again in an outfit like this one!

Michelle said...: But please let her leave more marbles out so I can wake her and Daddy at 3:00 a.m. in the morning. They have know idea on how much fun it was to have them awake with me in the middle of the night looking for me and for the marbles! LOL!!!

The Bride Awaits

I have this constant image in my mind of the day I meet my Savior. I actually picture my second wedding day. I've had my first wedding day here on this Earth and have been happily married for twenty four years. It was a beautiful day!

However, when I speak of my second wedding day I speak of the day when Christ Jesus the Bridegroom, will return for his bride...the church. Who is the church? Those of us who believe in the Lord Jesus and that would be me!

Tears flood my eyes even now as I think of my second wedding. I will be united forever with my first true love. My veil will cover my face as I walk the long aisle with my dress swooshing against the golden pews. No one walks beside me to give me away for my heart has gone before me and Jesus knows my heart.

The angelic voices sing His praise and insturments resound in sweet accord. I keep my eyes focused on my true love who awaits to take my hand. As I get closer, the glory gets stronger and joy floods my soul in overwhelming proportions. Though lilles line the path I walk, my rose awaits to hold my trembling hand.

The hands of my gentle healer lifts my veil away forevermore. A kiss of love He sweetly gives upon my cheek. It is followed by the words,

"Welcome home."

The same finger in which he wrote in the sand he uses to wipe my tears. I raise my hand slowly to touch His beautiful face as I gaze with adoration into His eyes, but quickly I fall upon my knees to wash His feet with my tears.

He then kneels beside me and lifts me to stand. Our eyes lock and He puts my arm underneath his and holds my hand. He leads me forward and says,

"My love, come and dine with me."
